About Our Foundation
Tellis-Cooper Foundation, Inc is a non-profit organization that deals with Children, Education, &
Homelessness. We aid in helping children achieve the goals set forth for them in school and also aid in
helping homeless individuals (children & adults) attain the necessary survival tools needed on a daily basis.
History
Joy Tellis Cooper founded Tellis-Cooper Foundation, Inc. in June 2004. As a fairly new organization, the
foundation has accomplished many goals within the community. Over the last two years, the foundation
has grown from one program to several programs geared towards making our communities more
equipped.
Programs
POG – Preparing our Girls (Self Awareness Class) Age 10-12
Tutoring – (K-8th)
For the Love of Life (Delivering Care packages to homeless)
Family Day in the Park – Back to School Jamboree
Socks for Tots Drive
Blanket Drive for Homeless
Experiencing the Joy of Reading
